Teams is part of the Microsoft 365 family and was launched in 2017. Since then, and partially due to Covid Teams has grown exponentially and is now a much used and loved platform.

So, what is all the fuss about?

Some may consider Teams to be a great platform for holding virtual meetings, they are indeed absolutely correct.  Teams is one of the favourites out there and as it is part of the Microsoft 365 family talks nicely to Outlook.

But Teams is much more than just a platform to hold virtual meetings. There is so much more…..

Teams is a place where you can communicate with people very easily and quite simply get stuff done.

So, what else does Teams do?

  • Teams Chat – Chat with colleagues like you would on Skype or WhatsApp

  • Teams and Channels – Communicate across the organisation or business, or within departments or groups

  • Collaborate – Work on the same files, at the same time as others

If you are brand new to Teams or know you will be using it soon then you will find our Teams training essential and worthwhile. If you have already started using Teams, then we are confident you will be able to increase your confidence and competence and be able to move to the next level with teams.
